I am currently training for The Canadian Championships. This will be my first time competing in the open category. I hope to set new National records and qualify for worlds

Gotta love bench day! After the crazy day of heavy Squat/Deadlift training, interviews, meeting and catching up with everyone on the Saturday, I was feeling a little tired for benching, and a little sad that the weekend was coming to an end. 


After all the girls had a chance to get to know each other on the first day, the second day really felt a lot like a family training together. 
Plenty of blurry selfies were taken after benching while trying to say goodbye to everyone. I really wish my flight hadn't been so early and I could have hung out with everyone longer.

After missing our baggage check by TWO MINUTES, Hannah and I ran through TSA, to be told to take our bulky sweaters off. Hannah turned to me and whispered "Just watch their faces" just before pulling off her sweater. of course Hannah is ripped so everyone was staring!

Tried 195 twice, and failed on both. 

I definitely have some things to work on to make my bench stronger. Now I have a better idea of the steps I need to take to make myself strong(her) for nationals.
