Adjusting to the ebb and flow of life.

Let's get less meathead and a little more personal. I've been pursuing my creative side head on and have been absolutely loving it [photography, internships, and interior design projects]. But I'm realizing quick its challenges.

This has resulted in some instability in my very scheduled life. Is that a bad thing? Not necessarily. At times it has made me feel more present and grounded with not sticking to a schedule and saying yes to wherever the day will take me. The flip side to that is feeling unorganized with my time. Not meeting 'deadlines'. Being more efficient.

Getting to my point - too many things are at a priority right now and I know balance is the answer but who are we kidding?

Training is important to me (and need to do better with providing quality content).

My health is important to me (in all aspects of the word).

My creative pursuits are important to me.

Relationships are important to me.

Our seminar series we launched is important to me.

Saying yes to experiences and opportunities are important to me.

This list generalizes the highlights of my life at the moment. So why do I feel like I'm not doing a good enough job? As cliche as this sounds, I have to figure it out as I go and ask myself for forgiveness later. There is no quick fix or balance. I simply have to be all in/present/focused while I'm doing any of the things listed above and not juggle all things at once. Meaning, while I'm training, I cannot think of an unfinished project because it takes away from being intentional with my training.

What I'm saying is, I need to work better on self awareness when my thought process or brain is going 1000 MPH.

Block Pulls

I was tempted to schedule a deload week and listen to my body but something made me do otherwise. Maybe it was my ego? Maybe because not all days need to be ideal in order to execute. Think of meet days.
