So these training sessions are implementing a heavy movement THEN by a ton of isolation. I may start pulling back on some of the compound movements here and focus more on building issue areas. I am torn about it though cause I like feeling weight and full body movements because.... im a powerlifter so I will always like compound movements over isolation.
Still currently struggling with left glute activation and his shifting while squatting and deadlifting. Very frustrating knowing what to do but the body won't let me. Breathing and some more recovery modalities are going to be needed to really attack this issue. You will see in the video how I shift due to lack of activation.
Day 1 – Lower
A. Glute ham raise – 3x12: BW + 25
B. SSB Anderson squat to pins, wide – work up to RPE 8 for 5 reps. Do 2x5 at that weight: 435
C. Sumo Zercher deads with cambered bar – 3x8: 255
D1. Pullups– 4x AMAP, use band as needed
D2. Chain reverse hypers – 4x10 each leg: 1, 2(3) chains
E1. Leg extensions – 3x12: 115, 135, 135
E2. Decline situps – 3x12: 30
