Circus DB

Did 2 sets of Circus DB presses for max reps in 60 seconds.

First set (finished with 5 reps): I rushed the movement, therefore, it was harder for me to get the press and I was cutting it close with the down commands. You cannot drop the weight until the judge gives you the ok after you lock it out. When you rush the implement, there is more room for error. The best advice I was given when starting strongman was slow and steady wins the race. Yes, strongman is about moving heavy weight as fast as you can in the allotted time you have, but taking an extra breathe, an extra moment to re-set, will get you further.

Second set (finished with 6 reps): I re-grouped and did better this set. I took my time in re-setting. This is also my second time using the circus DB, so I know the more and more I use it, I will improve. Need to clean the DB closer to my body, elbow needs to be a little higher, and shoulder needs to be more stabilized.
