It was hot and humid. I missed training in this weather; almost reminded me of Miami days. We are spoiled at Union to the point where someone commented, "I don't think I've ever seen you sweat."

Granted, its winter 5 months out of the year and the AC is always blasting. It was a good training day, however, my shoulders have been taking a beating. It's an impingement I feel and the pain is starting to creep back.

  • 1a. Iso bench 4 x 3 (5 sec hold)
  • 1b. MB Push Press x 3
  • c. MB slams
  • Shoulder mobility using PVC pipe (4 different ways) 3-5 reps
  • 2a. Stiff arm pulldowns 3 x 12
  • 2b. Fatbell OHP 3 x 8 each side
  • Trap Bar carry
  • Battle ropes :30 seconds
  • High carry x down/back
