I've been pretty much fighting a cold the last week and working a lot and in result had to juggle my training around. Not mad about it because resting and seeing grams were more important. Today, I combined squats with deads. Both were relatively light and weight my body could handle, me thinks. I'm just more upset about getting sick twice within one month. Casey and I have been taking turns, he's been sick a few times and dealing with stomach issues.

Squats 185lbs 5 x 4 (60 second rest)

After training, Casey and I headed to Bridgeville to watch his client and a new team member of Union Fitness compete. Both did a really good job hitting PRs. This was a local USAPL meet. I think only 30 people lifted total. A fellow lifter recognized me through social media and she expressed how she did her first strongman comp this year. That brought a huge smile to my face. The little things that we do and put out there can make an impact on someone- big or small. That's how we grow the sport. It was a pleasure meeting you Cayt and thanks for making my day.
