I've started doing GPP work for a few reasons
1. I actually have time for it.
2. The few meets I actually pulled my last deadlift was when I had better conditioning.
3. I want more gas in the tank for my main training sessions
4. I'm not as lean as I'd like to be.
5. I know I can actually recover from it. (Stress is lower)
6. It's kinda fun.

I've had some extra time on my hands since moving to Alberta. I'm only working part time to focus more on school, and have been able to get school work done, with some extra time on my hands for conditioning work.
We're staying at Seth's family farm for the summer, which is equipped with a sled, rower, tires, kettlebells, trampoline, and plenty more.

This was my second time doing GPP on the farm. I had a short shift at work, got home, changed quick, made myself a tang and salt intra drink and off I went. I opted for 30 second sprints on the rower with 200ft forward sled drad down the laneway and 200ft backward sled drag back to the rower. Rince and repeat four times, then four rounds of 30 second row 15 second rest. I finished off with five minutes of my new favorite activity, jumping on the trampoline. I giggle the entire time I'm jumping on it, and I'm enjoying it so much I don't notice how hard I'm working until I have to roll off the damn thing because my heart is beating out of my chest. Man I like that. I followed this up with 45 minutes in the infrared sauna they have in the basement.

All in all, this session left me feeling like I worked hard, but enjoyed just about every second of it.
