So training was a train wreck, to be fair the whole day seemed like a train wreck. A brief recap of the weekend; Closing of old gym, throwing a powerlifting meet in new gym space, putting together new gym, moving equipment into gym, adding all the minor details. So this all took from Thursday evening till Monday evening. We were still closed so I decided to go to my girlfriends gym. Lets just say in the three years of powerlifting I have never walked out of a gym midway through a session. Today was just not happening after the stress of the weekend with the added crap atmosphere at the commercial gym. This session was held together by working up to a six rep max on squat (high box) which ended at 495 (walked out, terrible rack, hands barely on bar because the rack was so narrow and my shoulders are so tight) following with calf raises. By the time I was on my third movement I was just fed up with the day and called it. got back to the house, had a pretty awesome meal and crashed, the end.
