Cycle three has come to an end, and as always, it is great to finally be done with he current torture but I am sure new pain awaits. So what does this mean in terms of CTP training? Great question, after every microcycle (6 training sessions) different means of hypertrophy are added. Means are the variables that fall under the building blocks of hypertrophy; Mechanical Tension, Muscle Degradation (breakdown), and Metabolic Stress (Teachings of David Allen). Every week a new mean will be added to ranging from pauses and negatives to bands and drop sets. These means will not be applied to every exercise, just some, stay tuned for whats to come (evil face)
