At this time my strongman schedule is not yet determined leading into the fall. I am slowly working back into grip training with several opportunities, goals and competitions on the horizon which may also include Highland Games late this fall. My training time has been extremely limited due to actual physical access to the equipment due to exploding gym hours and new members. While it's a great problem to have, I long for the days of having a home gym so I could train whenever I want to.

Headed back into the gym to finish cleaning.  While I was there I decided to get some grip work in.

3" Pinch Block

I couldn't even hit 25 lbs and figured my grip is shot. Since adding in consistent grip training, this is typical. It was take me a few weeks to get back to consistently handling grip training. Until then, I am pretty flexible with what and how I am training grip.

2",  1 Hand Dumbell DLs ---These are loads of fun.  Next time I face the inch dumbbell, I would like to be better prepared for it.

When Sheri and I did the Strong(her) Q&A she asked about my experience using kettlebells. Back in the day I would use a pretty light one to burn my legs out.  Today Sheri posted some awesome kettlebell videos and I got a brief itch.

The only KB up in here is a 25 lb one that I use for psoas flossing. Today, she got dusted off and put to work.

Sucked wind

Followed by more sucking wind and fried hamstrings.  These are awesome. I should add more KB work in so I can actually call it a complete workout. Or I might stick to watching Sheri do the work.
