Saturday was another day of deadlifting at elitefts - And I was really happy with how things keep progressing. I worked a lot of evenings last week at work and I was pretty tired driving into London on Saturday; and was feeling the fatigue just warming up. But once I got into my work sets I was able to get things into gear and hit a rep PR with 535 pretty easily. My original thought was just to do a single or two after that set, but I figured if 585 moved easily I would try and do it for a triple (which I did). It's crazy to think that in the Spring I missed 585 in my deadlift suit in training; and now in a fatigued state I'm hitting it for a triple. Continuing to move forward!

Warm Up (about 10 mins):

*Breathing Drill - 1 set of 5 breaths

*Muscle Activation Trigger Points - 20 seconds each point

Strength Work:

A. Deadlift - % sets

415x3

475x3

535x6 (rep PR)

585x3 (rep PR)

B. SSB Box Squats in Briefs (focusing on flexing off box/speed) - 3x6 w/ 365lbs

C. Hanging Leg Raises - 3x12

Competitively - My last competition was the UPA Summer Showdown August 6th - And my gameplan is compete in another raw meet this winter; and continue to build towards qualifying for a larger raw meet for next year. I've been competing for about 6 years and spent the last 3 competing in multi-ply gear before now doing some raw competitions again.
