I'm stoked this just went down tonight. I have been stressing over my deadlift lately. What is my best lift of the big 3 has been feeling like crap lately. I have been fighting a cold this week, getting run down and tired and now worried about my flight to the World's.
I started to pound back Cold-FX and Vitamin C yesterday and today to try and nip this in the bud. I don't have time to be sick. I lift in less than 2 weeks and I have set some pretty hefty goals for myself.
I have my comfortable squat and bench opener in place and tonight my deadlift is safe and sound. I'll take 400 to open please and thank you!
Tonight I did the JL Holdsworth RPR on myself, and let me tell you it worked. I'm happy with my lifts and how I felt tonight. Time to rest up and get cranked up for the World's!

DEADLIFTS
First I have to tell you nothing pisses me off more than to have to unload a million plates before I lift. Hence the nasty picture, that look when you have to unload the plates yourself. This is also why I started with such a heavy warm up. I'm just too lazy to unload the 100 lb plates myself.

And that is it, all openers in place. Tomorrow I will bench just the bar or a little more to practice staying tight and locking my shoulders back and then I will be shutting down until World's. I will be getting a nice treatment from Dr. Ken Kinakin next Wed and then I will be golden!
