Been away and unavailable to kept everyone updated.  My apologies. Do  you remember when my husband had a kidney transplant in 2011, well he was lucky enough to have had a 2nd kidney transplant a week ago. He is doing very well. Not everyday do you get a new chance at life let alone to have that given to you twice in one lifetime. The gratitude that is felt to the organ donors, is compelling and completely selfless.

This always allow me to reflect on what matters in life.  Life events such as these, change how you look at the world. I love life. I love getting the chance to change the world, this life, for the better. The impact of giving life is ......priceless. When you are the spouse of the organ recipient, you get to see the whole process unfold in front of you. One decision impacts many lives in a stressful yet most positive way. And I have experienced this twice. I encourage everyone to step up! Give life to someone who needs it. If that means donating blood, volunteering, opening a door for stranger, giving to goodwill, giving a donation anonymously anything to give a spark of life.  Its worth it! it will make this world a better place if we all do a self less act. You will benefit and the life of others will benefit.

Live.

Learn.

And pass on.
