Current total: 830.5 at 132 lb BW - Florida State and National Record Holder in Junior and Open Women's Raw division

Qualified National Strongman competitor and will be competing in Nationals this coming October to qualify for The Arnold in 2016

I am here to live, learn, and pass on.

Glad I was able to get in an extra work day, especially to blow off some steam. These movements were suggested to me to help strengthen and thicken my back and lats --  for high volume 1-2 times per week. 11 weeks out from Nationals and I believe events will be posted by this Wednesday, so it's crunch time. I think Torro can agree that we are ready to work!

Warm up:

Band pullaparts x 100

Band pull downs x 100

High Volume work:

Pull ups 5 x 8 (wide grip)

DB rows 20 x 5 - These I split up to work on grip, as well. Used the fat grips for 10, then took them off for another 10.

Meadow Rows 8 x 10 - I was told I did this in the reverse because if I had plates on the bar, they would be hitting my face but it's the same concept if you're doing it  with smaller weights.  So if you try these, use my same set up but turn around so the plates are far from your face when you are rowing the bar (video).

Then I did a 10 minute cardio session, BW step ups,  while using the grippers  just to kill two birds with one stone -- really need to up my grip work. I know Sheri Whethman (A.K.A. Mama Bear) suggested some cool things to do, so I'm looking forward to trying those (make sure to check out her training logs).
