This will be brief due to some time constraints on my part. But first, and again, I want to say I'm proud to be part of EliteFTS. Dave has done a great job creating, molding, and sticking to his values when he created this company and I'm reminded of that, in one way or another, every time I get to sit down with him.

The seminar, in my mind, flew by. The Q and A was entertaining to say the least with Swede and JL. I was merely trying to keep them in line and direct them back on track to answer questions (there should be some video of this comedy session). All kidding aside they have some different, extensive, and well earned knowledge between the two of them. As with every seminar, I learned new things all weekend.

The squat, bench, and deadlift sessions flew by even faster as the day went on.

Some notes:

My squat group improved tremendously. We had some guys squat to a box and some had a pretty good handle coming in so we toyed with some technique issues.

One attendee even came in on Sunday and squatted again and it was like day and night. It was impressive to see the immediate improvement he made and, to be honest, I was really proud that I got to coach him through that.

My bench group was fun. They were cool with me talking some shit to them. The girls hit some great benches and Gwen hit a PR. Mike's bench looked strong already but after some tweaks, and some more advice on Sunday, his last set looked awesome.

Deadlifts- my guys just wanted to pull. I'm pretty sure a couple of them just showed up to deadlift that day. This group had a few 'older' fella's so it was great to see them push it- I know a couple had taken some time off before the seminar to make sure they were healthy. Their technique looked f**king awesome after they started pulling themselves into position and sitting back hard.

To sum up the day, Dave took the stage as he always does. He made it known that he was not there for the whole seminar: "I know many of you probably didn't even notice but I left during the seminar. I'm going on vacation and I went home to pack. But I can do that now. I have coaches here that I trust. I knew you were in good hands." Now if you know Dave in any capacity- he meant every word of that. His integrity...his company's integrity...isn't something he takes lightly. Needless to say that made my weekend- to have someone I look up to put that responsibility on my shoulders. That's what makes EliteFTS special.

Live. Learn. Pass on.
