Farmers - 165lbs (no video)

After the farmers we worked on the pick only focusing on cues ("competitor ready, timers ready, go") making sure we timed our grip, form and air before "go".

Saturday Morning

Circus DB - 70lbs

Sandbag Carry and Load - 120lbs/140lbs

My thoughts: all events (excluding the sandbag carry and load) were not my best but that didn't bother me nor did it set me back mentally. I'm 2 weeks away and I know I've put in the hard work. At this point, what else are you going to do other than think positively going into competition? Do you think you can get stronger, faster in a 2 week period?

Considering that we did back to back mock "meets" and trained fairly heavy during the week (you can tell I was a bit exhausted), I pushed through without bitching. It was a good run through to get more comfortable and more familiar with how Nationals will be. It's been quite a journey and it wouldn't have been as easy without the support of the Battleaxe family. Trying to better ourselves, support and help others is what it's about and we definitely represent that. | #team
