Food for thought: If you consistently find yourself feeling like you're underperforming or not getting the numbers you want in training; and feel that work/sleep schedule/relationships/stress/school/etc is to blame.. Ask yourself, "why am I designing my training in a way that depends on this perfect life I don't have?"

I feel strongly that every training session should have a minimum amount of work that you could get done even on your worst day and still know you're making progress towards the end goal. The best thing I ever did was design my own training and my client's programs this way. You won't always be able to hit a 90+% PR, but you can ALWAYS accumulate more work towards the goal. If all your sessions need everything to be perfect to take a step forward, get ready to be standing in the same place for a long time cause life doesn't work that way.

Competitively - My last competition was the UPA Summer Showdown August 6th - And my gameplan is compete in another raw meet this winter; and continue to build towards qualifying for a larger raw meet for next year. I've been competing for about 6 years and spent the last 3 competing in multi-ply gear.
