I was not feeling like training tonight and I should have listened to my body and my hand. I am only deadlifting twice a week, one heavy, one speed. I think my last speed session with 500 lbs at top with the bands did me in. I put some crazy glue on my already ripped open hand and it was holding up nicely until my last pull.

I am now forced to deload while I heal my hand. No problem my body needs it. I still have time, I will be ready.

DEADLIFTS

256 LBS X 1/1/1 (No Suit warm up)

256 LBS X 1/1

306 LBS X 1

346 LBS X 1

396 LBS X 1

436 LBS X 1

446 LBS X 1 (6 Lb PR but it was ugly)

I have video but did not bother uploading it. You can only watch me deadlift so many times.

No accessories tonight because I felt beat up.

I have some special hand salve in the mail for me and I can't wait to use it. Clint Darden has been kind enough to give me tips, tricks and contacts to get my hands in good working order again. I guess I have been neglecting them too much.

Thank you Clint Darden for your continuing support, guidance and encouragement. Having you in my corner is a blessing in disguise !

Of course thanks to my loader, handler and biggest fan Ken.

Special mention to Dr. Ken Kinakin who has his work cut out for him with  my never ending body derailments. His expertise and kindness goes above and beyond and I'm forever grateful to have him in my corner, thank you Ken squared!
