Starting a new training cycle can be exciting! Really, it's a new slate to learn what works and what doesn't work. Another opportunity to possibly get it right this time. But understand that these findings take time, and lots if it. So whether it's your first training cycle ever or your 50th, I feel these words of wisdom from Brett Bartholomew apply to you. Training or life:

"...self-reflection. During the course of this introspective excavation, you are going to uncover a variety of truths that you are going to have to face. Some will no doubt lift you up and give you tremendous source of strength and confidence, while others you may identify are weakness that bring you down. It is important to understand that you should never run away from these discoveries, as neither the positive nor the negative findings truly define you."

Being a good lifter, coach, and/or overall person, knowing your strengths and weaknesses is your power. Keep both in mind.
