Yes I'm talking about not "doggin" a new activity before you try it. I've taught just about every group fitness class you can think of or heard of. But hot yoga is exceptionally hard to do. Once you make it through the class, its true you feel relief for many reasons. Making it through without passing out, without cramping, and without quitting. I am trying this for recovery and flexibility. Its not my first time, but it my first time being truly focused on what it offers. What can I learn about the practice? What can I learn about my strengths and weaknesses? Its good to try something new and try it with an open mind. Swallow your fear or insecurities and try something new. Change is good. Change is growth.
Twice a month is the goal.
A weeks worth of training:
- 4 training sessions
- 3 cardio sessions: intervals, bike, sled
- 1 yoga class 90min or swim
