Between the 12th and 15th I was one sick individual. Not sure if I have ever had the flu before but after this event I know I never had. It was terrible. Vomiting for nearly 40 hours. Fever for 36 hours. Never been this sick in probably 10 years. Took 4 days off from training anything off course. Didn't work for almost 3 days which is a BIG deal I only have about 5 days off a month. The only thing I could do was stretch and foam roll. Did a few 10 min spin bike sessions after my fever went down. It was literally horrible, I called my mom....I can handle pretty much anything but when you need to hear your mom's voice for comfort you know its bad. Had a friend take me to the hospital after 26 hours of vomiting, had to get fluids and potassium. Heart rate was high, temp was high, potassium was low. Bad situation to be in. All my muscles were cramping almost simultaneously. Took about 6 days off from the gym.
Here are some old videos. I can feel the passion with each video. My passion for lifting to be better than yesterday will never leave. I may be a seasoned lifter but I'm not done.
