Training

Today was a little nerve racking seeing as how the last several heavy deadlift days caused issues for me, but that is me being skeptical of myself with where I think I should be pulling. All these things were really irrelevant as I had not reason to question my training. Speed work did what it was suppose to:

1- getting me fatigued

2- warmed up

3- conditioned (sweat going)

4- eager and anticipating a heavy load on deadlifts WANTING to move heavier weight than the past 3 weeks allowed.

when working up I got my head out of my A$$, stopped thinking so much of my grip issues, and tried to move weight as violently as possible kind of like a speed day mentality should be!

For Concentric's here we literally did the regular deadlift, why? cause after de-load we start peaking and the deadlift is a concentric lift by itself, so we dropped the chains and went to work on technique trouble shooting. We have done this throughout our training cycle on RE days as it was suggested by Trevor Jaffe that raw dead lifters need more volume, so far it has paid off especially for Julia. Very blessed to have him as a contact to reach out too. Also, appreciate Chris Bridgeford for the reaching out and giving advice.
