The two exercise prescription's I hate the most (because I am awful at them) are, you guessed it, Incline Bench Press and Overhead Press. Any bench movement is difficult for me for a variety of reason's and many of those reason's I probably am still unaware of. Some that I am aware of is my weak back, tricep's, and chest. Once progress seem's to be made on these I end up inflaming my tricep issue's due to overcompensation of lat activation. Still testing and tuning every training cycle to improve these.
Working with coach Ganglion is constantly testing my ability to be coachable. This far I have failed numerous time's to drop weight and not hit the "recommended percentages". I see a percent and I go for it losing sight of the ultimate goal of strict rep's which happen's yet again today on incline press. I tend to freak out when the weight moves slower so my rep's become faster and sloppy. This will be a good lesson for me to drop my ego and work on my short coming's in my worst lift.
The training sessions was great, aside from the fast sloppy incline rep's (this is a perfect example of when the weight should have been decreased and strict (pause) rep's been the main focus. OH Press felt the best it ever has implementing the use of Chris Duffin's Shoulder Rök, I am very grateful for is magnificent mind and how he has aided so many people in thus field. I would also like to thank Coach Ganglion for putting up with my stubbornness and ego thus far in learning the programming. My accessory work was chosen perfectly for my weaknesses and I had a great soreness the rest of the weekend in areas I know are lacking. Non of these learning experiences would be possible without David Allen and NBS Fitness or Dave Tate and EliteFTS allowing me to grow in this career field.
