If you follow my training log you haven't seen much lately. I recently sold my half of my old gym and moved back home to Northeast Ohio and have been in the process of getting my new gym up and running. That day is finally here, Iron Athlete Sports Performance is open for business.

Iron Athlete is located in Concord, Ohio and open to athletes ages 8 years old and up. Training focuses on speed, agility, strength, conditioning, and injury prevention. Of course, it will be equipped for powerlifting as well and I plan to get a powerlifting crew together in the near future.

The process of getting up and running took a little longer that I expected, it was tough to find a building with the dimensions I wanted, in a location I wanted. I eventually ended up finding both in Concord without really having to settle for less than I wanted.

This past weekend, prior to my opening, my old training crew came up from Cincinnati to train. It was awesome to have them come up for the first workout at Iron Athlete.

I still plan at training at Elitefts occasionally, despite my drive going from an hour each way to three hours each way.

I've been extremely fortunate my entire life to be surrounded by people who support me, this new adventure is no different. So, I know I owe you all more than a simple "Thank you" on the internet, but here it is any ways. Thank you to my beautiful wife, Jaclyn, for never doubting me and always supporting my dream. My parents for everything they have done for my family since we've moved back. Dave Tate for being a great such a great mentor to me. And especially to everyone at The Strength Lab, I've made a lot of life long friends there and the support from all of you has been overwhelming to say the least!
