I have gotten stronger using a linear approach with competition specific lifts. I have gotten stronger using a varied or conjugate approach.

There is no moral high ground that comes with a specific training modality, simply an approach that works best for an athlete at a given time.

I'm seeing more and more people call others out for using a training method they don't agree with. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, keep in mind that calling someone names because they do or don't use bands or wraps or a box squat doesn't make you stronger, and it sure as hell doesn't make your program any more valid than the next.

I'm not expecting us all to hold hands and sing kumbaya, you can't expect everyone to get along all the time, but don't act superior to another lifter because of their training program.
