Kettlebell Sport training tonight proved fun and effective. We welcomed Tom our token male to our Monday night training, Tom had fun being the only male, I mean who wouldn't have fun in a room full of hot sweaty women right ?

12 Weeks out for the Agatsu Competition in Toronto on October 24th I am focussing on technique and seeing which event best suits each lifter. I will have some competitors doing snatches, some clean and Jerk (long cycle) and one or two doing Bi-athalon, 2 sets one of snatches and one just jerks. It is very challenging teaching in a group setting trying to watch everyone, critique and help where needed. I find taking video's and analyzing with them afterwards really helps a lot, it's also good for them to be able to see where they go wrong and where they go right, usually with this sport you can feel it when it goes right or wrong.

Double set 1 round

Double Jerks or 1 Arm Presses

So proud of my team, how they are growing into such amazing athlete's, I love watching the focus on their faces, practicing their technique, always looking for that extra improvement, extra little edge to help them. They show up, they do the work, they sweat, groan, grunt and sometimes complain but never leave without learning something. They all learn that the harder they train the better and stronger they get and that technique does matter, no matter what you do. We are not some big corporation or some commercial gym, we are a private home gym club who loves to Live Learn & Pass On.

Congrats to my Team Outlaws, those in attendance tonight were Tom, Bethany, Shannon, Shawnna, Kelly, Courtney, Vivian.

Missing due to vacation was Victoria, Cathy, Karen, Julie, Kat, Erika, Michelle and Carri.
