i did this workout Thursday. I'm was 9 days out.
I worked up to 50% of my meets goals. For a single. I did roughly 5 warm up sets prior to that.
My goal is to squat 710 for a 5 pr
My goal is to bench 530 for a 5 lb pr
my goal is to pull what ever I need for a 5 lb pr total. I set my training max at 700 to give me room during training. My meet prs are 755 conventional and 740 sumo. I don't think I will get a pr but I should be able to do what I need for a total pr.
After this we did the prowler for a few push/slags and did 2 sets of 20 with the battle ropes. We finished with abs.
I set 3 goals this cycle.
Do something for conditioning every workout
do abs every workout
maintain a appropriate Dl training Max and leave my ego out of my training.
i reached these goals and I'm ready
I'm off all week and I should be as fresh as I possibly could for the meet.
