I'm taking the next 12+ weeks off from strongman events and training primarily for hypertrophy with a slight strength emphasis. I'm in my "off-season" and looking to put on some size over the upcoming months and into next year. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my programming.

I was supposed to hit this training yesterday, but I spent Friday through Sunday at cabin on a private lake in a small town called Boston, KY. I got back early enough to train, but felt like crap and wanted to spend the afternoon with my son. So I moved it to today and will rearrange the rest of the week as needed. I will be getting all my sessions in though.

Today's training felt great. The squats felt really good and overall it was a great session. The volume of this session had my legs screaming. They were so pumped walking felt and looked funny. It was a good feeling though.
