Right now my training weeks are switching between heavy squats and bench with a light deadlift day, and light bench and squat with a heavy deadlift day.
Lighter, higher rep squats are significantly harder for me than any heavy single. I guess I must be a real powerlifter eh?
The weight was not an issue for me on these, so I focused on control over speed. I was pretty happy how things went.
I only have FIVE more opportunities to train squats before nationals. It's game time.
