Tonight's sport training had a different twist. We have two athlete's who are interested in getting certified to teach Kettlebells and are willing to Live, Learn and Pass On. Bethany lead the class tonight which was a huge advantage for me as I got to partake instead of coach.  You will see me in the back row, I had to do the entire training session with one arm only, but I did it.

Bethany set the training up geared for us to complete our 333 swings for the Kettlebells for Autism swing challenge. Then we did some sport training at the end as training for our next competition on April 9th has also commenced. Suffice to say we got in way more than 500 swings and collectively as a team we have completed over 3500 swings in 45 mins ! Pretty rocking training session !

10 Alternating Swings

10 Snatches R/L

10 Alternating Swings

10 Clean & Jerk or Press R/L

10 Alternating Swings

10 Swing Squats

This set took us about 7.5 Mins in total, I completed all with one arm and had to vary some moves into highpulls etc but what a great session. We did this set twice through.

The amazing part is Bethany did all her work with a 35 and 44 lb kettlebell while teaching the class. She will be an amazing Kettlebell instructor and plans to Live, Learn and Pass On by representing The North American Outlaw Kettlebell Club.

After those two sets we did a set of Tabatas, 4 mins of swing squats, 20 seconds on, 10 sec rest for 4 mins, are you kidding me, that was hard and I challenge anyone out there to try this one.

Finally, our sport set, 2 Mins Clean and Jerk or Snatch

Wow what a night, I learned quite a few things tonight. There are alot of leaders out there who need to step up onto the stage, classroom or front of the group, more people need to Live, Learn, Pass On. I am out of shape, unconditioned and am happy for the opportunity to have been lead instead of being the leader.

Team Outlaws aren't just swinging for the challenge, we are always training, always getting ready for the next competition which now is April 9th.

You still have time to join the challenge, if you wish to partake in this 10 K 30 day swing challenge for Autism you can click my link here.
