I am currently in an "off-season" phase focused on putting on some serious bodyweight while still getting stronger. I'm also raising an amazing infant boy, while still working, training and living life. My next competition will be the USS National Championship in late June where I'll be competing in the 220# class.

Since this was 3 days out from the St. Paddy's Day Smash Strongman competition I didn't kill myself. However, since I was treating this competition more of a training day than a real competition I wanted to get my training in for the week. I cut the volume way back, but still put in a little work. I should also note that my squat felt great for the first time in a long time. I felt like I could've hit my top set for 10 if I had wanted. I'm liking the lower bar position now that I'm getting the feel for it.
