I'm currently in the early stages of preparing for 2016 USS Strongman Nationals which will be held on June 11th, 2016. My training focus is to continue to get stronger overall, continue adding some size and start working in strongman events again. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my programming.

Another snow storm put a damper on things for my lower body day this week. I got to hang out with my little one all day, but was able to squeeze in time for a quick workout. I had planned on hitting this session on Monday, but I was sick and running a fever. So Wednesday was my next available day. Then a big snowstorm came through Tuesday night. Regardless, I got some work in. I was lacking in the volume as there as more programmed, but sometimes life gets in the way. This session actually was pretty tough though as I was still getting over my sickness. So I was ok with hitting the heavy stuff and moving on.
