Since I'm still in off season mode, I'm working on keeping as much control as possible with my squats. That means slowing the descent and eliminating the bounce out of the bottom. This is my third week squatting with a "regular" bar. I was really happy with how these felt overall.
My training partner, Seth, has been calling me out for how slow my training sessions are so I've been trying to take shorter breaks. I like having someone around to force me to be better and actually don't hate taking shorter breaks. Who knows, maybe my conditioning will get better.
