A friend asked how I was feeling about the meet. I responded with, "normal." Since last meet, my approach has shifted for the better. Will I get anxious on the day of the meet? Absolutely. This sport excites me and scares me at the same time. And if that were to ever go away, then I know my passion and drive isn't there anymore.

But nerves and worries won't help me lift the weights. No matter how prepared or unprepared I am, meet day is what counts.

The experience is what counts.
