Man, I just can't understand why so many grown men/ and woman spend SO much time worrying about what the next person does. whether it be  fed/depth/grip/speed/method... I'm seriously tired of the got dam power lifting police/debate team day in day out. They're out just searching the web to find what they deem violations if another man or woman does a meet in a fed that people consider to give "gifts" so be it that's their prerogative. My ma used to say to me it's all about the man in the mirror it was a poem of sorts some motivational shit because I was such a little fuck growing up.

Honestly though what's the problem? All because the fed you choose (KEY FUCKING WORD CHOOSE) is stricter than the opposite? Well, then you can look yourself right in the mirror and say according to what I believe is the standard I did it right.

There's always talk that people pick these particular feds to get inflated numbers. If they can look in the mirror and live with it then that's their choice, in a country that has same sex marriage, hell it's even cool now. In a country as culturally diverse as our's, you would think people would be able to do as they please.

There are soldiers overseas putting boots up asses so we as Americans have FREEDOM. A lot of you same people support the troops and that's great, but fuck we all know that the freedom they fight for, that YOU support goes out the window as soon as something as tiny as power lifting comes up.

On the same hand, the same people will argue the next day about how in powerlifting even when sponsored nobody makes real money, THEN WHO GIVES A FUCK ABOUT WHEN WHY AND WHERE THEY COMPETE ….shit is so redundant

I get it you bust your ass in the gym to compete, at a level you consider commendable, and the next guy is getting gifts… As a passionate guy, I can understand that but fuck man we all have relatives that are sick, jobs that suck, family members long gone and a slew of other shit wrong in life.

Powerlifting is nothing more than lifting weights; it's an escape a way to beat death back a couple more years well maybe but seriously at the end of the day. It's all about the man in the mirror if you're able to look in the mirror and say I deserved what I got then your golden don't worry about anybody else.
