Shoulder is still aggravating my bench. Still pain and weakness. But at least I can bench. I try to stay as tight in my lats as possible to avoid winging out to avoid pain. Feeling fairly strong, 2 weeks of consistent speed work helped wit explosiveness. Or Dave Tate world say "less slow". I will never be a fast lifter but I sure can hold my breath a long time to grind through heavy weight. We don't have a choice sometimes genetically you can not change the amount of time you have to make a lift. Some people its 3 seconds and then they have nothing left. I just lift until I see dark then lift through it trusting my spotters. Whatever works.
Bench with chain
1st set: 185 plus 1 chain per side
2nd sets: 185 and 2 chain per side
Not a true 100 percent max but heavy enough to test out my strength in my shoulder. Probably 90 % here.
