This was an odd one because due to Easter, I wasn't able to meet up with the crew at Apollon. They trained on Sunday due to work schedules, while I had to miss due to a family brunch.
So to kill two birds with one stone, I decided to work up in the deadlift along with my Saturday powerlifting class at the crossfit box. I usually gear up for full range sumo work, but I didn't want to bother with the whole suit, and instead pulled in just a Jack brief.
Here's how it went down:
135 x a bunch
225 x 1
315 x 1
405 x 1
455 x 1
495 x 1
545 x 1
565 x 1.
The 565 was nice and fast, and it's the most I've pulled from the floor this cycle. Shut it down there and did some assistance work on the glute ham raise. Looking forward to seeing what I can pull in a suit!
Also, my computer always auto-corrects "glute-ham raise" to "flute-ham raise" and it's getting on my nerves. Sorry, just thought I'd share.
