First workout of the year, can't hold anything back now. I'm currently training for the 21 deadlift salute at the Arnold Classic in the 220 lb and under division. Last year I was able to win it with a 777lb pull, this year I am hoping to pull 800lbs+. In an effort to build my deadlift, on my squat days I've been alternating 3 week cycles of squat mornings and safety bar squats.

This rackable cambered bar has been a good purchase for me, I've used it a lot for squat mornings and good morning as well.

Squat mornings: (65lb bar, but for math sake I count it as 45)
bar x 3
135x3
185x3
225x3
275x3
315x2
365x2
405x1
455x1

Last week for a set of two I hit 415 and it was relatively tough, so I was really happy with this single at 455. I probably had more in the tank, but didn't want to over do it. I am planning on deadlifting in my suit again this week.

Accessory work:
Standing Good Mornings with the Cambered bar 2x10
Standing Cable Crunches 3x15

Here is the vid of my heaviest single from today. Thanks to everyone in the Strength Lab Powerlifting crew for all the help today! And great job by everyone.
