If I can only suggest one or two things to someone who has trouble staying organized with their nutrition and that is to plan ahead and cook lots.
Having healthy food on hand takes away the temptation of eating out, grabbing that unhealthy snack because there is nothing else available. Those are excuses at best, being organized and planning ahead are key to success.
I like to use Sundays as my meal prep day for the week. I cook up a few different dishes, separate them into meals so I always have food available for my lunches. I also don't want to have to cook after a long hard day at work when I get home because I have more important things to do like train, coach, relax, walk the dogs, you know, stuff. I don't like cooking as it is so the more I can do all at once kudos to me. Unless of course you have family dinners then that is an exception but for busy people on the go, cook ahead, save time, energy and money.
I also like to have a ton of meat cooked up, chicken, sausage, pork chops, boiled eggs, always an easy safe alternative to starvation. When I go out I always take water with me and always take a snack, never get caught out and get so hungry you get hangry, that leads to junk food snacks and failure of your nutrition goals. Only cheat once a week at best and remember every time you cheat you have to reset the clock again and again.
Make a ton, freeze some, your kitchen is already a mess, cook a months worth!
Lastly, keep it simple stupid, Ken and I are pretty simple and don't have to eat fancy, nice healthy hearty meals and we are happy as a pig in a blanket.

Great information in that article, so what's your vice? Too busy? Too tired? Too Lazy? We all have excuses but really at the end of the day, you are what you eat so the choice is yours.
