I usually coast meet week. I start to get anxious day of the meet. Nerves, adrenaline kick in. You can imagine your lifts and hype yourself up before the meet, but it's what you leave on the platform that's important- thats the moment that really counts. So as of now, I'm calm, cool and collected.
Meet prep was less than perfect but what prep really is. A lot of changes were made, and for once, I'm excited to execute what I've learned. The Lexen is an Arnold qualifier. I'm open minded to whether I just need to be conservative and hit what I need to hit or if it's a really good day test the waters (after making qualifying numbers). I know what you're thinking: why be conservative? I want to leave this meet more confident and have a good start to the Arnold prep. I plan to hit my goal then as well (900+ total). But like I said, it can go either way depending on how the day goes.
Attempts:
290, 310, 330+
160, 175, 190+
320, 350, 380+
Super excited to see Casey and Molly perform. This is the first time Casey and I will be doing the same meet. Hopefully, we see some of our fellow teammates. And Dave. Out of breathe and all red in the background. With the most unpleasant face that looks like "why am I here."
