It's been some time since I took a heavy pull off blocks and I decided today was the day to test it....

Bar was set just below the knee - pulls were conventional

worked up to 750 for a single

went for 800 but it was a bust....the bar flexed but the plates didn't break the surface of the boxes. Last fall I pulled 765 off the same boxes so I was hopefully 800 would go. I'll try again in a few months

 

walking lunges

60 feet for 3 trips

used 275 for 5 sets of 3 reps

 

incline barbell bench using blue shoulder saver pad

225 for 3 sets of 5 reps

 

low pulley cable rows

5 sets of 15 reps

 

Arnold Presses

40's for 4 sets of 12 reps

 

band tricep extensions

light band for 3 sets of 20 reps
