As you may all know, I have made a life changing decision to move from Miami to Ohio and many ask why (in a good way). My plans are to start new- find a job and eventually go to school once I'm a resident. Overall, it's for change. Miami will always be my home but nothing is really holding me back where I have to hesitate or question it all. I just went for it. How do I feel? A mixture of everything. Excited, nervous, scared. I may or may not like it but I really wouldn't know unless I tried.
Ohio is not some random state I picked. I have been traveling there for the past few years since starting my powerlifting career. Many called it back then that I would move to Ohio because I came back so excited each time I visited. But, then, I'm like "heck no" I wouldn't move there. Few years later, here I go. Never say never...
My last day in Miami is on the 20th and then I'm headed road tripping to Columbia, SC to visit Donnie Thompson at the compound.
Mike and the battelaxe fam have been so kind to combine the Axemas Christmas party to say their farewells and give see you soon hugs. I won't get sappy but really love and appreciate you guys! Proud to be part of the team.
