Currently: 2 Weeks into Post-Meet Training

..So this weekend marks 2 weeks into my new eating regimen (I don't like using the term "diet" because it sounds temporary, and this is a more permanent lifestyle adjustment on my part). I'm going to provide some small updates weekly as I make adjustments over the summer, until I have everything where I want it to be and am in a good spot to easily cut to 198.

Starting Weight: 222lbs - April 1st

Current Weight: 216lbs - April 14th

Starting Nutrition:

Approx. 3,600 calories a day (mainly composed of processed food and crap)

Current Nutrition Breakdown:

Training Days (4 days/week): Approx. 3,100 calories - (300g carbs, 100g fat, 275g protein) - 99% whole foods, very little dairy or processed food/added sugars.

Non-Training Days: Approx. 2,600 calories - (150g carbs, 110g fat, 275g protein) - 99% whole foods, very little dairy or processed food/added sugars.

General Feedback: I've felt dramatically better the past 2 weeks switching to more whole foods - My sleep has been better, anxiety has been decreased, and my digestion has felt a lot better (which I expected). I definitely feel a lot better throughout training as well).

Plan Moving Forward to Week 3: Keep everything where it's at. I'm not going to adjust anything until my weight is stagnant for at least a week. Then I'll likely pull a few carbs and see where that goes. I don't want to get too light, too quickly. I'd like be sitting at an easy weight cut to 198 (I could do it from here but I don't want to cut too dramatically).
