After a fairly long hiatus from strongman, I decided to get back in there and compete. I cannot really remember the last strongman competition I did but over the past couple of months I have redefined myself as an athlete and started back to event training. I am pleased with my progress and continue to adapt to my recent rather large weight loss. My next competition is United States Strongman Nationals on June 11, 2016 in Kentucky.

My math is all messed up, or maybe I am tired. The competition will be in two weeks from this past Saturday. So I cannot even figure out is this 2 weeks left or one?  Rookie math.

Rolling/Mobility

I took out the Magic Stick and tried hard to dig around and loosen things up in the knee. Today I used my super heavy knee sleeves, just to support the mental piece when I feel my knee "pull".  It's probably time to think about using them in competition.

After I pulled the single, I realized that was probably not the best plan so close to the competition. So I shut it down at one. My strength is so tempermental, I need to keep that as the #1 in my mind.
