So halfway through our walk in the zoo we kind of lost interest since much of it was under construction. Secondly, Laura made the point, all the animals were the same that we were being and there was much more to be done than walking around a zoo (I agreed)

The trip to the zoo was an overload, we were on the train for a good 30+ minutes and looking out was just endless city. It was really weird, the only comparison I can make is this place makes New York look small. Don't get me wrong, New York has a ton of people and crammed into a little place but take that and multiply it. The size of the apartments and houses here are 1/2 that of New York, so take an average size living space there, cut it in half and now you have two living spaces.

Unlike New York (US in general) this place is SUPER CLEAN, all the public restrooms are very well kept and there is hardly any trash on the street. I was able to see my first roof top basketball court while on the train and a "driving range" that looked more like a gravel pit, lol.

We ended rolling through some weird shopping district in Tokyo where people dress up in Anime but they were apparently not out in numbers, it was a Friday here so we may have came on the wrong day. We walked roughly 11 miles today so needless to say I am not doing any steady state cardio while I'm here, tomorrow we plan o getting a training session in at the US Naval Base gym
