What.... A.... Day, wow. To even think back and begin is tough, this video only captures half of what we experienced as our phones died from al the use with no charging stations.
Our day started at 3:30 am, we had to take the second running train to make a connecting train taking us to our first hotel to meet with the group. We then took a 30 min ride to another massive hotel that was fancy as hell ($300 a night fancy) to pick up the rest of our group.
The bus rides were the most informative but worst part of the trip cause I just wanted to sleep. Our guide gave us a lot of info whole driving (over an hour worth of travel). The highways are only 2 lanes and it weaves between downtown like a back country road, if you had a performance car it would be amazing. The back country roads of the mountain were even more thrilling, I feel like the bus driver had a performance car with how he was taking the bus up and down this mountain, it was insane.
The pictures do not do this thing justice, we were blessed and spoiled to have a nice day that we were able to see the mountain barely leaving Tokyo which is not normal according to our guide. It stayed in our sight all day until the sun started going down and we were over 50 miles away, it was fantastic.
Stuff we did not capture:
-Hardcore bikers riding up Mt. Fuji
-Mt. Fuji has its own weather and while we were on Mt. Komagatake we heard thunder from Mt. Fuji but no rain or anything, it was crazy
-Lake Ashi Cruise
-Bullet train coming home hitting 166 miles per hour
-local rice farmer fields
