Sitting on the couch Sunday evening planning out the next day's squat movement my mind was not processing I WAS GOING to have to do the exercise. Julia asked me, "what do you want to do tomorrow?", my mind went to death and thought of some of the crazy sets I have seen Dave Tate do in the past mixed with what Julia has programmed in the past. I wanted the person (not realizing it was for me as I missed that little bit of information) to hurt, to feel awful, to think about life. We ended up with SSB box Squats - Competition Stance for 3x5 than on the 3rd set to an "endless drop" or a variation of a widow maker set. Not a true "Widow Maker" cause I would not survive nor am I man enough for those but this is as close as I'll get to take that on currently, I digress. on the last set of 5 you re-rack, weight gets dropped, 3 reps, drop weight and chain, 3 reps, more weight, 3 reps, more weight and chain, 3 reps, then whatever weight is left on inside of chains 3 reps, done.

There is no caffeine or supplement that would have gotten me ready for the pain that came from this nor is there anything out there that would have stopped the pain my glutes felt the next 2 days to follow. Now I will say I was not very pleased as I was hoping to feel these more in my quads but it is something I have always struggled to do during the squat. May take the box away next week and see if I can get more quad dominant during these.
