I made a social media post last week about hating how smart and full of knowledge my Elitfts teammates are and for good reason, Eric Maroscher posted an article with some great deadlifting tips which can be found in this article. One of the suggestions he made was doing reset reps, which for some of you may be old news but not for me, today was going to be the day I try them. I am in a "power-building phase so I thought, "may as well go all the way crazy with it" so we added a deficit and some chains to my opposite stance to really make it a new max effort variation. This Blog post is being typed 5 days later and my hands are still hurting from this variation, you want grip work? implement this in your training, I promise you it will help. The worst part of this was it humbled me on the lack of weight I was able to use.
