4 Weeks Out from XPC Finals @ The Arnold Classic
Tuesday was a rep week for max effort squat/deadlift; these weeks I do 5x5 versus a max effort single. I did box squats with the SSB and the final set did 6 reps. This was followed by pin pulls for reps, leg press, and abs.
This weekend is the final week of Circa Max (as Clubber Lang said, "Prediction? Pain..") - After that, the following week will be a heavy chain squat with my opener in full gear followed by 2 weeks of deload on speed day leading into the meet.
The biggest thing I keep reminding myself every session is that being able to still give 100% when training and life circumstances aren't the best will set me up that much better for when training is going well leading into a meet. Few more weeks to go till game time.
