So it wasn't bad enough I almost killed myself doing round 2 of my Christmas Kettlebell Challenge tonight, then I had to go and try a bench shirt for the first time. Can you say sucker for punishment!

Well, that was an experience and a half. I only need about another 100 lbs to touch, maybe a bigger shirt next time. Experimenting is fun and one thing is for sure training in gear is not comfortable, it's hard and it's a learning experience to lift in gear. I have never had that much weight in my hands so that is a first. Much more respect for geared lifters after tonight.
I have a new squat suit I may try soon too. Not saying I'm going to the dark side but I don't think it will hurt me to train in single ply. The worst that can happen is my raw total goes up, hooray for that!
